Blog, blog and more blog. Why did I not get out of bed last night and wrote down what was on my mind. The urge was there, but then I was too lazy to get up. Sometimes I think that I should not be writing anymore. I am not producing any books or win any prizes at contests.
Then someone will come up to me and tell me that she enjoyed my little article in the local paper. I guess we all need encouragement at times and I know that eventually I will be driven to write again. This blog is all about "I", but it is good sometimes to spill the beans and let the fingers write what is flowing out of one's heart. This is my contribution for to-day. It feels good to have written it down and I hope someone will read it and understand my feelings.

It is good advice to have a notebook (or computer) handy at all times. here is some encouragement for you, though. What a great post!

As long as we have breath, we each have words to spill out, like offerings of cold water on hot days.....

And they don't even need to be in books or articles or even blog posts to release hope, encouragement, and life to another.

You mentioned letting the flow come from your heart... and something in my own heart says that your words, Addy, in whatever form they take still have great impact for the Kingdom.

Glad you let your fingers do the talking here.........

Sometimes it's good to talk about "I". Reading information and inspirational articles is great, but it's also good to learn more about the one writing those posts. It does make us more vulnerable, but isn't that what the Lord asks of us? To love, to share part of ourselves is to open our hearts to others. Thanks for sharing your post with us.

I think the part that makes us writers is ...we can't walk away, no matter how much we would like to, some days.

When you write from the heart, Dear Addy...you touch other hearts. This day, you have done this. x
